Santiago, Chile

Arrival to Santiago was tough because the coach from Mendoza arrived too early so we endedup at the coach station at 4:10am! We were invited to stay at Maria from Guatemala, Weronika friend from Mexico times ;)
As it was too early to knock her door we decided to have some coffee at Hotel Ibis by the station waiting for the time to pass and the metro to start running.

Anegdote: Don't rely on hotel staff on the Metro opening time as they were wrong we stayed in Inis for one more hour instead of enjoying time with Maria!

I am very happy to have met Maria, my Uxmal Mexico friend... We have not seen each other for 9 years, but both agreed that time passes and not much changed...well a bit more wrinkled but the same!

The plan for Santiago was simple: buy a laptop! So all we did is pleasant walk in sunny district, then shopping mall and browsing through the laptops...WE GOT ONE! Sony Vaio, so now the photo management and other stuff will be much easier ;)

In the evening we walked through the Santiago busy streets, passed the palacio en la Moneda to arrive to La Lastarría, a cool district with bars.
The special guests for the evening were Adam Komarnicki, my ex-colleague from London pwc, and my Uxmal ex-flatmate Juan Ingnacio Chiapetta and of course Maria Pirval! It was a great evening to meet friends from Poland, Argentina and Guatemala en Chile! The world is small...
